Annika Heidel



Annika is a generally registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and has experience in working with children, adults, and families in both a group and individual setting. Annika is passionate about improving the health and well-being of children and adults using evidence-based intervention. She aims to collaboratively work with clients, their families and schools, to help them overcome challenges, build resilience and create positive change. Annika also has experience in administering psychometric assessments.


Annika is experienced in providing evidence-based psychological interventions across a range of areas, including but not limited to;

  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Depression and Mood Disorders
  • Adjustment after separation 
  • Challenging behaviours such as aggression or defiance
  • Emotional dysregulation and anger difficulties
  • Sexualised behaviours (e.g. protective behaviours education)
  • Grief and loss
  • Parenting skills
  • Suicidal ideation and self-harm
  • Trauma

Annika is also experienced in providing psychometric assessments for the following;

  • Cognitive ability (IQ)
  • Academic ability
  • Memory difficulties
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Specific Learning Disorders

Annika works part time from our Strathpine Office.
