Serena is a registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Serena has experience working with children, adolescents, and families across the community and private sectors with a wide range of presentations. She is passionate about providing evidence-based intervention and a holistic, empathic and caring service for her clients.
Serena is also multilingual and able to provide counselling in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Some evidence-based treatment approaches Serena uses include play therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy and positive psychology. She uses a collaborative (with family and school where needed), client-centred approach to tailor treatment to individual needs. As part of her role, Serena also provides psychological assessments for clients including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder and Learning Disorder.
